Fresh Graffiti
The carrots are pretty popular in Austin, garnering local media attention. This one is on Guadalupe.
Since January I’ve seen KITS chalked on telephone poles, spray painted on railings, wheatpasted on trashcans, and stuck inside newspaper boxes. Looks like KITS is a member of CTS.
I believe IOTA had a hand in the SAYER frog piece we posted a week or two ago.
This is a cool flare.
Not sure what’s going on here except for the CTS tag.

Increasing the penalties for graffiti crimes may lessen the crimes, yes. But the problem I think lies in actually catching those that are committing the crime. Harsher penalties will mean little if there was little chance of catching them. Thanks!

If only the graffiti is educational and was done in the right place, I mean a place that was purposely made for this “art” then its alright. But if done in public places, I think it’s not “healthy.” For me it’s dirty.

These “free-zones” actually increase the graffiti in the surrounding are by 300%. This has been tried and failed many times. Another example of unprincipled liberal policies with predictable unattended consequences.
Tagging destroys someone else’s property, which means it robs from people what they work hard to earn. When you take someone’s earnings after they work all day you make them into a slave.
